BLAKEY TRADES

Legal

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026 · Applies to the Blakey Trades app and blakeytrades.com

In short: we collect the minimum needed to run your account and your private journal. We never sell your data, and you can delete everything permanently at any time. Two features send content to third-party AI providers — the Ask Aria chat and the MT5 screenshot import — and §5 explains exactly what leaves the app.

1. Who we are

Blakey Trades is operated by Kyle Airey, a sole trader based in England, trading as Blakey Trades ("we", "us", "our"). For the purposes of UK GDPR, Kyle Airey is the data controller for information collected through the app and this website.

UsageBasic app interaction data (screens viewed, streaks, XP, last active), and daily AI feature usage countsShow your progress, apply fair-use limits, and keep the app working correctly

The app has no member chat, community feed, or direct messages, so we do not collect any of that. It also contains no trade signals — signals are posted only in our Telegram channels, which are a separate service governed by Telegram's own privacy policy.

3. What we do not collect

We never ask for, store, or have access to your broker password or login, and we have no connection to your brokerage — we cannot view, place, or manage trades on your behalf, and we never receive live account data from any broker.

One important exception to be clear about: if you use the MT5 screenshot import, the screenshot you choose to upload is an image of your own trading history, and it will typically show closed positions, prices, volumes and profit or loss. That image is processed as described in §4 and the extracted rows are saved to your private journal. You are never required to use this feature — you can always add trades manually instead.

4. AI features and the providers behind them

Two features work by sending content to third-party AI providers, acting as our processors:

We currently route these requests through OpenRouter (which forwards to the underlying model provider), Mistral AI and NVIDIA. Requests are sent for real-time processing only; we do not ask these providers to train models on your content. Some of these providers process data outside the UK and EEA — where that happens we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses as the transfer safeguard. We do not attach your name or email to these requests.

Do not enter passwords, card details, or other sensitive personal information into Ask Aria. If you would rather nothing left the app, don't use these two features — everything else works without them.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (see our Account Deletion page), your login, profile, journal and progress are permanently and irreversibly removed. Daily AI usage counters are retained for up to 30 days for abuse prevention, then deleted.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email kyle.airey@hotmail.com.

8. Children

Blakey Trades is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Financial market content is not appropriate for minors.

9. Security

Access to your data is protected by row-level security at the database layer — your journal and support chat history are only ever readable by you. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continued use of the app after a change means you accept the update.
